GlycerolGlycerol, also known as glycerin or glycerine, provides hydration without contributing to breakouts or congestion. It is a great Moisturizer and has a soothing and calming effect.
Propylene GlycolPropylene Glycol has the ability to enhance the penetration of other ingredients into the skin. It can help deliver active ingredients more effectively, allowing them to reach deeper layers of the skin where they can exert their beneficial effects.
Glycerin (and) GlycerylGlycerin: Glycerin, also known as glycerol, is a natural humectant derived from vegetable oils or animal fats.
Glyceryl: Glyceryl is a prefix that is combined with other compounds to form various skincare ingredients.
Glycerin and glyceryl are both humectants, meaning they attract moisture from the environment and help retain it in the skin. They help to reinforce the skin's natural moisture barrier, reducing water loss through the epidermis.
GlucosideGlucosides are a group of compounds that consist of a glucose molecule (a sugar) bound to another non-sugar molecule. In skin care, various types of glucosides are used for their beneficial properties. It is often used in skin brightening and lightening as well as for Moisturization and hydration.

What are emulsifiers, surfactants, and solubilizers?
Emulsifier : Emulsifiers are ingredients used to stabilize and create a uniform mixture of oil and water-based ingredients. They help prevent the separation of these two components, ensuring that the product remains well-mixed and consistent.
Surfactant : Surfactants, short for surface-active agents, are used for their cleansing, foaming, and emulsifying properties.
Solubilizer : Solubilizers are ingredients used to improve the solubility and dispersibility of insoluble substances, such as essential oils, fragrances, and certain active ingredients, in water-based products. They help create clear and homogeneous solutions by enabling the incorporation of hydrophobic (oil-based) components into water-based formulations.
